I think I have to go back on Geodon

I’m hallucinating about celebrities for hours at a time. This was happening before I was medicated, but not on Geodon. Also, my voice is worse on Caplyta.

I’m not thrilled, but I am considering it. I’m talking to my psychiatrist on Tuesday.

Rose as you know I had some complications with Coming off the Geodon mi oh may but Geodon served me quite well the 20 years I took it. You know there is just as many drug reactions as people on the surface of the earth.
I found seroquel was the perfect fit for my biochemistry.

I’ve always been suspicious of that med. It failed phase 3 trials but got approved anyway.

Not cool. I didn’t know that. It’s been very good for my depression. So, I can see why it’s being marketed for bipolar depression.

I was on Caplyta for a while, and I barely noticed it. When they took me off it I didn’t feel a thing. Geodon and Seroquel are what have worked best for me.

Geodon served me well when I was on it for 20 years.
But getting of it was nearly impossibly for me. You know if you are addicted to a drug you criticise it very very much just to get free from it and man was that hard for me.
I’ve never tried Haldol so I can’t say how good/bad that is but I’ve used another 1. gen antipsychotics with two anti parkinson pills for side effects. This 1. gen antipsychotics is the most sideeffects free meds I’ve ever taken and besides of that strongest. I’ve now used it for 27 years as LAI. I’m on 750 mgs Seroquel aswell.
I’m going to make slow long time plan with my scrink about tsppering Seroquel (600 -450-300 mg). Why that
because Im in remission now after 30 years of heavy medication.
Besides Seroquel has worked wonders for me the last 13 years

I was telling my psychiatrist I want to switch to Geoden because I thought I would lose weight on it

I hope it works for you again if you get to taking it again

You can lose weight on Caplyta also. Caplyta works well too.
