I’m on 3 different antipsychotics where one is seroquel ir 600 mg and the other is Ziprasidone 160 mg. I just want to inform you with that Seroquel takes away my craving for alcohol and works very good for my irretability, and takes away my thought so that I’m totally blank in my mind. I’v no dangerous thoughts any more. I would like to know if you have had succes with the transition from geodon to seroquel.what dose where you on and how did you do it. The reason I would like the change is that it’s very unhealthy to be on 3 antipsychotics at the same time.
I took Geodon once the first time I was in the psych ward. Then my psychiatrist stopped it and put me on Seroquel but then stopped that soon afterwards too.
I didn’t transition Geodon to Seroquel, I went Geodon to Caplyta.
All I can tell you is that coming off of Geodon is brutal. The withdrawals are physically painful. Titrate down SLOWLY and only under your doctor’s supervision.

I’ve been on the max dose of both Geodon and Seroquel for a long time now. At first I thought I didn’t think the Seroquel was doing anything, but then I didn’t get it for five days, and I was a little more jittery than I wanted to be.
I quit Geodon and Seroquel one month ago and I’ve never felt better in my entire life.
They both are a harder habit to quit than Fentanyl.
