I still buy CDs and vinyl. I do stream, however I prefer owning physical music. Vinyl is getting more expensive. I don’t know if I’m stupid putting money on expensive audio equipment and vinyl?
I still buy digital music and don’t stream simply because the artist gets more if I buy a song on itunes and I have a big collection already I add too. For my 50th the family got me a bluetooth record player and decent headphones so I do occasionally buy vinyl again. I got rid of all my cd’s and records years ago but it’s nice listening to vinyl still.
Yeah it costs more but it is a different audio experience to digital for sure.
I listen through Bluetooth from my MacBook. I mainly use my computer to discover new music. I have Bluetooth headphones and a Bluetooth receiver to my amp.
They opened a record store close to me. They sell both new and used vinyl with fairly good prices.
I’m a music addict! I can’t get enough.
I still buy CD’s too. You can get a lot of older albums on CD for dirt cheap on Amazon.
I got into vinyl a couple of years ago. I think it’s a great listening experience, and not bad prices. I’m thinking of cd’s that cost 20$ new in the mid 90’s. And now I can get a lot of decent quality used vinyl for less than 10$ after almost 30 years inflation.
Plus rare vinyl and vinyl in demand has a good market value if you want to sell it later.
