My fur baby doggie hasn’t eaten since the couple of bites yesterday. So he’s still not well.
He’s elderly so unfortunately I don’t think he’s going to be around much longer. The vets in the area all said to get started with basic tests and an exam it’ll start at $600-$800 which I don’t have.
My heart is broken, luckily he’s very cuddly so I’m showering him with love.
Awww, poor doggy, i love dogs, My first dog Mac was a really great dog & very strong, his heart went before his legs did so that was a blessing.
Our other dog Piper had great genetics too, she was a very big girl (bigger than male dogs of her breed) really lovable & friendly, her legs were starting to go so i was tasked with the horrible job of taking her to the vet it was the most humane thing to do considering the circumstances. but it really cut me up
I’m so sorry. Did you ever get another dog? I’ve decided not to unless my financial situation changes. I need to be able to afford vet visits beyond the annual checkup and vaccines.
