I sit with pneumonia at home

Here where I live, every infection goes first through covid center.

I have my bacterial infection again, and today I went there for a check up, but there’s been 250 people with symptoms with average wait of two hours. I went home.

I just hope it will heal bc instead I took antibiotics until today, my immune system is ruined…

That isn’t good. You should go back. It’s better to wait a few hours than to get worse.

Here our ER wait times can be more than 6 hours.

I’m not sure it’s pneumonia, but it isnt good.
If I’m there, I might as well catch covid. That is far worst

Covid isn’t always far worse. I’ve had it twice. It wasn’t fun at all, but pneumonia is awful.

I just don’t get it.

My amoxiclav pill was yesterday, for bacteria.

My current position is worst, and I was covered with antibiotic…

I developed diarheia from it…

Last nine months, I had one pneumonia, and treatment lasted one month, bacterial one…

In the mean time, I was into covid centre ten times, six lung x rays, transwer to pulmonology once, they got me back.

I’m a schizophrenic with very low income, and I’m losing it.

I was patient, waited, now I can’t bare it any more.

Not to mention that I spent more on taxi there then food (I don’t have public transport to there)…

I will post tommorow… I’m worn out…

Thanks @anon4362788 :yellow_heart:

Like @anon4362788 said, you don’t want to avoid knowing what it is. Last time I ignored a respiratory illness I ended up in the hospital on oxygen for a week. It was so bad that when they decided I was well enough to go home, it was because my lung function had gone up to 40%. I kid you not. 40% functioning was good in comparison. Seriously. Get checked out.

Everyone was anoyed of two hour dr’s pause, people were shouting at staff…

I’m glad you got diagnosed and got meds. Are you vaccinated? Hopefully you don’t contract Covid. I still think going for treatment was the right thing to do. I’m especially glad you don’t have pneumonia. I hope you feel better soon

Very glad you got checked. I hope you don’t get covid, either, but don’t be too scared if you do. Be cautious, of course, but too much worry can make your body weaker. The cortisol chemical is released from stress and plays havoc with woth your system.

Good you got it sorted out, respiratory problems are very stressful for me too. I take preventatives regularly. When i would do some moderate exercise i believe i wouldn’t have to take the asthma medication but i can’t get motivated, same with a healthy diet.
