I have pneumonia.... Again!

I’ve had a cough for 2 weeks went to the doctor today and they did an x-ray and I have pneumonia yet again… This sucks

I had pneumonia 3 times in a row when I was 17. It was awful. I didn’t get better until I stopped doing anything and rested as much as I possibly could for 2 weeks. I finally got better. I’m still prone to pneumonia but not that often anymore

Enquire about the pneumonia vaccine im diabetic and ive had it pneumoccocal its called, misspelled it but

Yes it won’t do any harm in asking and getting pneumonia is serious never mind recurring must be horrendous

You probably know what to do for the best with you having it previously
Any problems breathing go to hospital and theyll give you oxygen etc
I wish you a quick recovery x

@anon29983254 thanks I think I might just lay around some and pet my cat. I know I can do that if I feel like I’m unable to breathe I’ve done it before and they said I was breathing fine at that time but I know I can… The doctor gave me more orders this time like Vicks at night and in the shower, two kinds of nose sprays, allergy pills, and cool mist humidifier on low at night and that’s all on top of antibiotics

Take care and follow doctor’s orders. Take it as easy as you can. Avoid as much stress as possible. I have COPD myself. Some days I have to be careful not to overexert myself.
