It’s the first day and I feel like dying…I am feeling anxious and it’s not the first time I quit,it’s probably the 7th attempt.I feel this time is different as I had a bet with my gf if whoever uses a cigarette or vape first, will lose the bet with money. Its us trying to build a better future.
Get some exercise if you can, that’s how I deal with my cravings.
@nfy Imo, that’s the worst way to deal with quitting smoking. Maybe somewhere down the road, yes, but not right away. Moderation of dopamine would help like walking , or decaf coffee, but not something intense like exercise.
They sell 1mg lozenges on Amazon which is like half a cigarette. It helps tremendously. You should check It out @Gtx1990
I quit in chantix and didn’t do anything while on it.
But now I find that when I exercise the thoughts and cravings go away for a good while.
I didn’t feel like exercising when I was just quitting.
To each their own…
Yeah replace negative things with positive. Exercise is a really good thing. Feel like a smoke do some exercise. I too gave up with chantix. It was really easy and I’ve no desire to smoke and can hang out with smokers now without wanting one.

Good on you for quitting. I hope you never smoke again
Drink plenty of water to help flush out the toxins.
Good luck with it mate. Me personally wasnt concerned about my health, i have a flagrant disregard for it - it was purely down to the cost of tobbaco. So i still Vape. But hats off to you for your determination.
