Something depressing has been happening ever since I started smoking again. I keep borrowing from next pay day near a week or two before the check comes to my bank. I can’t catch up. I have been spending all my money on cigs again. I spent my last twenty on cigs this morning and I am very, very upset. I don’t know why I can’t just put them down. well, in 2 days I won’t have cigarettes even if I want them. there. that’ll show me. Even stopping smoking is not going to help me. I have to borrow against the next check. damnit. what do I do? I thought about just eating beans (dried) in a crockpot so I don’t have to borrow so much. maybe $100.
That’s addiction for ya!
Jayster
rob a bank then lol
Must churches etc do a food hamper for the poor. Usually don’t ask to many questions.
Smokes, can you roll? As it’s cheaper to roll your own. Rolling machines are cheap and easy to find. But it doesn’t take much to roll your own. The secret is tuck the bottom edge right under the top end.
Buy filters also. Extremely cheap. You wont notice the difference much at all.
If worse does comes to worse recycle your old buts one week. Such a common practice here. It’s urban name is bumpers here. ie Oh see Ted he’s rolling bumbers
Something clicked as I wrote the first post. I am going to stop everything again. What I desire is security. financial security and addiction will eat through any dreams you have if you have them. simple as that. I will borrow $100 from next payday and then I will have to just bite the bullet. I have nicotine gum for when I’m out of cigs so I feel better.
I want a white Gretsch falcon 12 string, can’t get there from here. yet.
Good luck juke. Eye on the prize. You’ve had some good stretches. Keep them coming.
I get stuck in one state of mind sometimes I just get frustrated and mad about it which makes me even more stuck.
It’s not how much money you make that matters,
it’s how much you spend that count.
Good finances are simple,
Don’t spend more than you make.
Borrowing is never the answer,
unless it’s just a temporary thing you’re able to pay off quickly, because,
if you can’t learn to live on the money you have this month,
how will you be able to do it next month, on that much less you borrowed?
Hopefully you will find a bowl of gold at the end of a rainbow and all ends well.
I always prepare to stop smoking when I still have cash and then just skip to the store in the morning for more cigs. but I won’t be able to do that now. It’s really the only thing that gets me going is when I can’t afford them. I will have almost two weeks stopped smoking by the time pay day gets here. so I’m locked in…again. I want that 12 string guitar !!
I guess you can see the coloration between pot smoking and the difficulties in your life.
Will never go back to drugs. Still have my vices.
I roll my own and is about a third of the price. To be honest it has got to the stage where I don’t even like real cigarettes any more.
I got a problem with alcohol myself. It takes a heavy toll on me physically. You’d think I’d learn with all the trouble it has caused me. Addiction is hell.
