Hi. I am 15 years old and let me give you some backround information. Last year i had a hallucination and it was very scary it was this thing that was trying to kill me and it chased me but anyways, since last year ive been seeing things every once in a while. I’m always scared of them. In the last 4 months, I have been hospitalized for a suicide attempt (attempted 3 times in last 4 months), been sent to several crisis units. Ive seen seen psychiatrists and doctors and counsellors and social workers and im tired. I became very depressed because i wasnt getting better and getting through the day is a challenge. Then last week i had a bad hallucination and this thing communicated with me telepathically so it just talks to me through thoughts. And it puts ideas in my head. It wants to kill me and im scared. I always feel like he’s there and im really scared it wants to kill me and i dont know what to do. I don’t physically see him anymore but i can always feel him and he puts thoughts in my head that i dont want to think. I think he works for the government. I need help but i dont know what to do. Someone please tell me if this sounds like schizophrenia at all. The guy whose trying to kill me is named the little man. Im scared of the little man please help me i dont know what to do. I see my psychiatrist in 2 days and i havent told him about the little man yet. Im scared to. What if the little man gets mad? Anyways someone please tell me if this is schizophrenia thanks
We can’t tell you if you have schizophrenia, only your doctor can diagnose you with that. Sorry. But from what you wrote, schizophrenia is a possibility. You should definitely tell your doctor about all of this if you want an accurate diagnosis. Remember that only you are in control of what you do. Your hallucinations can’t harm you directly. I get that this is very difficult for you and I sincerely hope you will be honest about this with your doctor. If you are, your doctor may suggest medication or other things that can help you deal with this. It really is the best course of action. Good luck!
No one here is a doctor or qualified to diagnose you. Quite often what people think is schizophrenia turns out to be less serious so don’t fixate too much. Even if it is schizophrenia, it can take years to be diagnosed as part of the diagnosis relies on a person exhibiting certain systems over a sustained period of time.
Good for you for seeking out treatment. If it is schizophrenia, then early intervention equals the best outcome most of the time. Please drop us a line and let us know how it goes.

you should go see a psychiatrist… a better evaluation will be had there
Sounds like it but see a professional first to diagnose you.

My cousin had them when young, it’s usually the 5 year old and younger that gets them.
It has nothing to do with schizophrenia.
