I’m switching from Zyprexa to Geodon in January/February. Wish me luck. I’m so anxious
Good luck to you.
Thanks @GrayBear!
I found a rehab in my city which has opened a new psych ward. So I’m going there for 1-2 months while I do the switch.
I’m sending you all the luck!
Thanks @anon70814080! Appreciate all the encouragement
Good luck, been on it for 3 years.
Best of luck with the med change
Excellent @Mars! I’m excited but scared at the same time. Good to hear all your stories. A friend of mine has just been put on Zyprexa. I’m wondering if I should tell her to try swap in the early days.
Nice thing about my switch is that I can stop Trulicity and all those meds I’m on to manage my insulin
Thank you @everhopeful! I’ll keep you guys updated as I go. If anyone is interested haha
Good luck! I’ve benefitted from med switches recently!
Oh brilliant @FreeLunch! That’s awesome to hear and these positive stories are really encouraging
Good luck!
I used to be on Geodon but it didn’t help me. I know it has helped lots of people though.
Also, on Geodon I couldn’t sleep and felt wired all the time. But I haven’t heard of that many people having that experience on it
I’m now on Zyprexa. I just switched from the regular tablet you swallow whole to the orally disintegrating tablet and have noticed a decrease in my appetite since switching.
Anyway, I hope it helps you
Thanks @LilyoftheValley, appreciate hearing your experience on both!
I am concerned about the sleep part and feeling wired…
At the moment my appetite is suppressed on Zyprexa but I just can’t lose anymore weight
Best of luck with the med switch @TarenS
Sending (((hugs))) and good vibes.
Thanks @Wave. I’m starting to question my switch but think I must just do it
Thanks for the hugs and good vibes @shutterbug!
good luck with the switch! i hope it will go really well =)
Thanks @lekkerhondje!
I’ve actually decided not to do the switch. I’m stable on my current meds and I don’t want rebound psychosis from swapping meds.
Good luck. I hope the Geodon works for you.
