After seeing my psychiatrist today after having a tough month with auditory and visual hallucinations again and delusions I went to my VA clinic and saw my doctor and he decided that I will transition over to Olanzapine (zyprexa) 15mg. But I will take 5mg first for 5 days, and then another 5 days at 10mg while I reduce my Resperidone by half by 3mg and then to my regular dosage of 15mg after those 5 days and cut out my Resperidone completely.
That’s from what i understood lol. Kinda confusing to me. But I’ll get my new medications in the mail by this week

I was on 5 different drugs at the same time, now Im taking only 3 mg of risperidone and Im lowering my dose a 10% every two weeks, my goal is to quit this medication completely (Of course Im not encouraging anyone to do the same, talk with your pdoc) because I got rid of my delusions since 2 years, my pdoc said I made a great improvement, hope you can do it too (hugs)
