I’m in so much pain

My bladder hurts so much I have to deep breathe to get through peeing. I’m calling my urologist first thing tomorrow. Maybe it’s another uti

Is it bad enough to go to the hospital?

I’d only go if I saw blood or develop a fever with it. I think the antibiotic never fully got rid of my post surgical infection.

That really sucks I hope you feel better soon my Mom goes through nerve pain from a work accident she takes hydrocodone for it I dont know what to say to help

I’m sorry you are in so much pain. Maybe you could talk to a doctor about getting some pain pills.

@crimby pain pills can cause urinary retention. That’s why he doesn’t give me anything for pain

I’m really sorry you’re feeling bad. While you wait to contact a doctor, are you able to get your hands on some cranberry juice?

My urologist says cranberry juice doesn’t really work except to help prevent infections. It doesn’t make them go away. He says water is best. I am told to drink a gallon of water per day.

Thanks @Happy_H for the suggestion. I’m on hold with the drs office now

I’m sorry to hear that. Is there any way you can keep your mind off the pain, like a movie, or cooking, or reading? Maybe you could play cards with someone. I don’t know. It is really bad that you have to endure this.

How are you doing now?

Are you taking painkillers?
