I’m going to binge. :(

I’ve lost nine pounds. I’m trying sooo hard! I just can’t deal today! Life is really painful!

Can you take what you want to binge on and just eat half?

Wait an hour… just 1… the urge won’t feel as strong.

Yah, comfort food. Drink some juice, going hungry is hard.

I’ll try. I’m so discouraged. I’ve worked so hard.

@thomas
Okay. I’ll try that. Thanks.

Hang in there. It’ll be ok. Take out as much as you are able out of what you were going to eat

Thanks @Winterblues. I did!

We haven’t had junk food in our place, and my husband came home with a ton of it. Even if I resist tonight, I expect to struggle in coming days.

I had to ask my husband not to buy junk food anymore.

I know what you’re going through @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter.

Hang in there.

@LilyoftheValley
Yeah, we haven’t had it either. He bought it because he was mad at me and did it in spite.

Thanks @Vertigo

I think when we suddenly stop eating foods we like their tends to be a yoyo effect. Maybe instead of the diet and binging cycle you could measure a certain amount out and allow yourself that much daily. Maybe youre addicted to sugar like i was. Cutting it out completely all at once didnt work for me so id just limit myself to one pack per day.

That’s not okay. If he’s so pissed, then he should rearrange your stuff, hide your phone charger, dumb sh it like that. But purchasing something that could not only hinder your recovery, but make you ill as well? Are you absolutely certain that this is the guy that you want to spend the rest of your life with? This time, it’s the snacks; whatever, I know, but this sort of behavior tends to escalate. What happens next time he gets pissed? Will he secretly give you marijuana? Will he flush your meds? Will he confirm your obsessions and delusions? Will he gaslight you to the point where you end up in the hospital again?

If buying sweets that trigger your eating disorder is the sort of punishment he feels justified in giving to you, then you seriously need to ask yourself what he’s capable of, and whether or not being with this man is safe.
