I lost control this past week

I’m on two different AP’s and read it’s not good to mix them? I stopped one and the side effects have been vile.
Vivid dreams and the voices are quite frightening. Last night I had to get out of bed as I couldn’t rest.
I’ve started taking both as prescribed as from this morning but still feel awful.
I can’t seem to face anyone, even those I really love and keep thinking I’m shouting things out.
I’m constantly asking my parents have i said anything wrong? And as much as they reassure me I don’t believe them

Playing with your meds is a bad idea. A doctor prescribed them and you’re not qualified to change them. Not only will you get side effects or withdrawals, but whe restarting the meds will be less effective sometimes.

If your pdoc prescribed both AP’s to take together, then they will know which ones don’t mix together and which ones are ok

I’m on two AP’s as well and they go well together (amisulpride and haloperidol)

I think that’s what has happened. I’m ok regarding health my bloods are taken once a month and ecg. I’m not gonna do this again I think I’ve paid the price for it whatever’s going on

Which APs are you taking?
What prompted you to suddenly stop one of them?

I am only on abilify and it has muted all voices. I am lucky in this regard.

I’m on Seroquel & Amisulpride! Do you feel wide awake on Amisulpride? And do they check your bloods & ecg too ?

Yes amisulpride can make me feel wide awake, but fortunately the haloperidol relaxes me enough so I can sleep

I stopped Amisulpride I feel it keeps me wide awake and read that two AP’s shouldn’t be taken together. It’s obviously wrong as you say I’m prescribed them and been on them a while. I’ve been on AP’s for 14 years now. Clozapine was the best but I was taken off it due to my bpm going way to fast.

Yeah, I hear you. My bpm was through the roof on amisulpride, risperdal, and even on abilify at first. It’s in the normal range now. Seroquel is a sedative and is often prescribed as an adjunctive to another AP.
Trust your doctor.
I’ve also relapsed twice after messing with my meds, and I’ve learned my lesson.

BPM have always been fine on Amisulpride and Risperidone was fine too. Abilify gave me a bad reaction within 20 minutes and had to stop it immediately.
I’m on 750mg of Seroquel and only on my morning dose of it 300mg sends my heart a little crazy, but at night 450mg I’m absolutely fine. I think it’s because that’s when I take my nitrazepam diazepam & sleeping meds

If i lose control cops will be called I’ll get lectured.

When someone loses their ■■■■ they get consoled.

Funny how that works.
