Sometimes I’m around people and I just burst out with laughter and/or start panicking and having a tantrum. Then they asked me what was wrong or funny and then I don’t acknowledge that I was doing it and I either don’t answer or I mutter what people tell me is a completely unrelated answer. I don’t know why I do any of those things. Is that normal in sz???
It does happen in sz sometimes. Don’t feel bad. It can be a symtom, though not a major one.
I would laugh at inappropriate times. I remember the worst case being when I was a sophomore in high school, and while reading Shakespeare aloud I busted out laughing, couldn’t explain why I was laughing, and couldn’t stop for a good six whole minutes. No one had said anything to me, I was just reading Shakespeare’s The Tempest. It was very disruptive and everybody was staring at me. The teacher almost sent me to the office.
