It all started when I took down my neighbors recycling cart. I felt a sting. I thought it was an ant bite but I am allergic to ants and it would have produced blisters and.such. I believe that he hid a syringe of some sort of nerve agent or neurotoxin knowing I would take his trash. It’s killed the nerves and blood vessels in My finger and that’s why the doctor can’t get a pulse now. I thought it was a delusion that I thought he was planted in the unit next to mine to spy on me and get me removed from my house. But obviously he or someone wants to harm me and they did.
Is your finger alright? sometimes I get tiny splinters and its like a cactus hair kind of situation you can’t find it and its like a jolting pain.
It sounds a little delusional if I’m being honest. Your neighbor could be a jerk and do something like that, but what are the odds when you’re doing them the favor of taking out their recycling?
Better take it slow friend and start working on rationalizing away this delusion. People might want you to move out, and they can also be mean, but actively seeking to harm you requires a bit more evidence then randomly having a hurt finger.
Could you have jammed your finger by accident?
Can you rule out a spider bite?
Thanks for responding. I didn’t jam it, even my doctor said he doesn’t know what is going on and that I stumped him . Now I have to have all these tests and my finger keeps getting cold and hurts/numb…I had to get a doppler scan of my whole arm and it cost 400 dollars and that is a lot of money for me. I’m so scared.
Ok, but did you search it at all and find a needle or do you think that it could be a spider?
I didn’t see a needle and when I went back there of course is nothing there. When it all started I went to urgent care and the NP said it wasn’t an insect bite and did x rays and found nothing. She just gave me steroids and sent Me home and to see my reg doctor.
Well now I dunno, but its a little unsettling that you harmed you hand bad enough to do that, but don’t know when it happened
sorry bro take care of yourself.
Thanks I’m supposed to see all these specialists in a week so maybe they will tell me an answer idk. I’m just going to keep to myself from here on out. Thanks for your thoughts on the situation.
Can I ask what medications you take? I have a condition that causes naturally poor circulation, and when my doctor had me on two medications that interacted with each other, they made my circulation so bad that my fingers kept going numb and turning pale yellowish.
I was taken off those medications, but in the meantime i learned a self-massage and stretching technique that could stimulate blood flow to the area.
One of the things it caused was sudden, sharp sensations like being stung. It was a result of the nerves not getting proper blood flow and sending the wrong signals.
I take latuda, wellbutrin and buspirone.
This is the condition I have, that was worsened by my meds.
Buspirone was the med that caused the issue for me.
Oh interesting. I’m going to ask my doctors about this
No worries. It can be frustrating when we describe something that is real, but because our minds go to delusions nobody takes our symptoms seriously.
I’m so glad you stopped in.
Nerve agent is a weapon of mass destruction that is bound to be closely watched by the FBI. A single droplet of VX nerve agent the size of the eye of Abraham Lincoln on a penny is enough to kill any adult. Neurotoxins are another class of drugs that are a wild card and that have to be watched by the appropriate agencies. I think we can safely eliminate those two substances as a cause of your problem. It sounds to me like what you got is some kind of pinched nerve. I don’t know how they treat those. Maybe a chiropractor could help.
This reminds me of when a schizophrenic family member was trying to explain at family dinner how the government implanted a microchip in his head and he knows because he could feel it electrocuting him every day. And his whole family rolling their eyes and scoffing and being embarassed. And then I told him what brain zaps are, and how they are a sign that he is waiting too long between doses of his meds and that gatorade can alleviate the pain. And everyone’s jaws just dropped. Because he was “crazy” they wreen’t listening to him saying he was in pain every day. Because he must be imagining it. Just because his mind came to the wrong conclusion about the cause.
Yes I think this is definitely more likely to be something akin to what ninjastar is talking about. The idea that your neighbor did something to you seems too far fetched when some explanation like theirs could be very plausible.
It could be Raynauds disease
Raynauds is a possibility. I have it but my symptoms only come out during cooler months. I have a prescription that helps then.
