For a few days now my right hand has hurt and felt swollen,
Now the tip of my pointer finger is cold and red.
What’s going on?
I don’t know if it’s worth a trip to the doctor,
But it’s kind of bothering me.

Did you hit it at all? Over work it? Maybe sstrained it? I have rolled over and slept on my hand.
I don’t think I injured it,
But it’s possible.
Just seems weird that it’s cold and swollen.
Go to the doctor… You may have a circulation problem that needs to be addressed
It’s strange that it’s cold. Usually swelling is warm not cold. As in inflammation.
I’d get it checked out too. Especially since its been a few days
If it were me, I’d definitely get it checked out.
If it doesn’t resolve itself in a couple of days then I would have it checked out by a doctor.
You could even do it by telehealth.
If it came on suddenly it could be a pinched nerve
I would get it checked out. You send us pic we might be able to say more.
That sounds like something worth a trip to urgent care.
Feel for you.
Could be low blood pressure.
I stopped taking propranalol.
Low pulse.
Sounds like the infections my brother keeps getting in his fingers.
Do you pick at your cuticles?
yea like others said i would have it checked out by the doctor too…
No, I don’t pick my cuticles,
But I am guilty of biting my nails the past few weeks since we found out about the move.
Still, they’re not super short, you can still see the whites of them, so I don’t think they’re causing infection.
Good idea, though.
Something is preventing circulation. You need to see doctor. You could have injured it if you are moving. You could put warm pack on it and alternate with a cold pack.
Maybe mention it at your next psychiatrist appointment. When its getting painful go to a doctor.
