A large camper tricked out as a dental clinic came to our assisted living center and gave us treatment for our dental problems. They put a filling in on my tooth that was cracked in half so that it would hold together. I imagine that, counting the x-rays, this cost the taxpayer around $300.00. Some of the dental problems people have here are pretty bad.
I just feel lucky when the ice cream man comes to my neighborhood. It’s expensive and I never buy one but it’s nice to have the option.
that’s great @crimby I have a free dentistry clinic through my therapist setting it up…good for you !!
That’s great that you got your teeth fixed. From the sounds of it I bet it would have cost more than 300 bucks.
That’s nice. I don’t have free dental care where I live anymore. So I bought dental insurance for 15 dollars a month
If anyone needs it. I recommend looking into humana they tend to have the best deals on it.
That $300. is probably the most cost effective (best) money the tax payers ever spent.
No good comes from having dental troubles…
People from Britain are stereotyped for having bad teeth but everybody on certain social security benefits are entailed to free dental care and everybody under 18 years old too. I have always had a scale and a polish every 6 months plus when it was found I was grinding my teeth I had a mouth guard made up for free, if I was working that alone would cost £290.00. I have countless x-rays. I have never paid anything towards my dental treatment, all from the NHS. My teeth are excellent, I’m 32 and never had a filling.
