I just found out!

There is an atypical antipsychotic that my insurance has a deal with the pharmacy on. It’s Abilify. I’m going to ask my dr to let me try it.

Thanks @Blossom! Abilify will only cost me $20/month. Haldol helps me stay calmer than usual but I’m afraid of getting tardiv dyskinesia

Just remember 10mg is the minimum dose for schizophrenia.

I’m on abilify also, at 22.5 mg. But be careful about weight gain.

I’m another one who has put on weight with abilify and a significant amount. I wouldn’t want to change medications though, as others I have tried have also put on weight but made me sleep all day.

Abilify caused me to binge eat until I threw up. Every night was like that. Not a super common side effect but it can happen.

The drug looks great on paper, so it must work well for a lot of people. Worth a try!
