There is an atypical antipsychotic that my insurance has a deal with the pharmacy on. It’s Abilify. I’m going to ask my dr to let me try it.

Thanks @OcelotKitty! Abilify will only cost me $20/month. Haldol helps me stay calmer than usual but I’m afraid of getting tardiv dyskinesia

I’m another one who has put on weight with abilify and a significant amount. I wouldn’t want to change medications though, as others I have tried have also put on weight but made me sleep all day.

Abilify caused me to binge eat until I threw up. Every night was like that. Not a super common side effect but it can happen.

The drug looks great on paper, so it must work well for a lot of people. Worth a try!
