I have had a revelation

Maths is beautiful, …
From

Introduction to Integration. Integration is a way of adding slices to find the whole.

so this means that even if I find a physical ‘slice’ or ‘slices’ of me to be not the most appealing in the world, when you integrate me, you will find a whole person. Who is beautiful. Because I am a human being.

(I did AS level maths at high school)

Yea I found quite a lot of it difficult too, but something about algebra was fun.

My revelation makes me want to look back at algebra now,

especially the whole idea of just accepting formulas instead of understanding them that was one of my problems, I did not usually have the brains to break down the formula and just accepted it

i hit my max or plateau at upper division in college with abstract algebra and those types of classes. very abstract and pretty much on your own to figure things out. i barely passed with a c. when you start getting into proofs and abstract math it’s hard. i struggled.

but the fact that even if I did not understand how the formula was worked out, when you put numbers into the formula, and then the answers were always of some universal pattern is interesting…to say the least

wow that is so cool :+1:

i was doing math one day months and months ago, and I cant remember why I made this but I think it was just some funny joke to state the areas of the human body most people find attractive

there is something vital missing in my understanding of algebra, that I need to also understand to fully grasp the concept.

watch this space :stuck_out_tongue:

alright peeps , heres a question for the day, I was at superstore the other day and forgot how to compare these in my head.

We have a box of fruit snacks by no name brand that is $3.50 and there is 800 grams. We have another fruit snack box by nestle that is 2.50 for 600 grams.

Which one is better value? and by how much?

I don’t know

I am sorry

I did give it a try though but I am either under too much pressure to work it to the end, or I’m just not that smart to truly know haha,
