i always struggle with the feeling that my brain is less than totally competent in various ways.
this afternoon i did some math exercises – i did them well and quickly and i am so proud of myself.
i feel happy about this inside…
hugs to you, judy

I once signed up for a beginning Algebra class at a community college when I was in my late 40’s. I just wanted to do math. I was having a wonderful time when I discovered that every time I took a quiz, I went into a total panic and bombed the quiz. I needed to get at least a B on the quizzes to pass and I couldn’t muster more than C’s. My son needed the car anyway for work so, I quit the class.
not so bad ginalovea2. you learned from your math class and that is supposed to be the idea.
keep happy. judy
A schizophrenic leaves the Chicago train station doing 100km per hour.
Another schizophrenic is on a different train from Boston heading in the opposite direction doing 75km per hour.
The question…
Which schizophrenic forgot to take his meds and thinks he’s headed to Disneyland?
Is it an African or European swallow?
(In case no one caught the reference…)
Mathematics is such a vast field. Algebra, calculus and statistics are a few sub-fields. Even accounting requires some knowledge of arithmetic.
