I hate thinking it's this schizophrenic against the world

When it’s not needed! I have the friendly clerk at 7-11, I have my always cheerful and positive sisters, I have my loyal step-dad and step-mom, I have you guys. I say "Hi’ to people I pass in the street on my almost-daily walk. With all this support my spirits are up sometimes. I have to show some of my housemates who’s boss if I can. But I will be careful just like my sisters advised.

You know, I never thought of it in that way until you mentioned it and I AM thinking it’s just schizophrenic me against the world, but I too have family to help me out in every way, plus friends. It saddens me that I need a better car to go see my friends and I don’t know what to do about that, but they are still my friends. I am not alone. I have my girlfriend and I have my two dogs. I also have God to keep me company. I take great solace in that point. I hope your housemates chill soon. I am sorry you are having trouble there.

Yea. I often am alone in my struggles. I find my life is better when I count my blessings tho

I’m not having a lot of trouble. Some trouble though. Just normal stuff when you cram a bunch of people in relatively small living quarters.

It really all does boil down to do you see the cup half empty or half full? If we try to notice the good that’s what we’ll see and vice versa Glad you’re able to embrace gratitude, because it’s good for us…

I was just going to add that, too. Living with others - once in awhile a few feathers have to fly just because we’re human.

Part of the schizophrenic journey is the sorting through of illusions.

Try not to identify so much with the label itself. You are a human being, with a unique DNA and a unique mind and brain. There is no such thing as normal. I hope you feel better and be yourself! You are a good positive influence on people on here and I’m sure a lot of other places!

Every human being has an existential struggle, we just tend to wear it on our sleeves. Its not bad, it can be good.

Like what Jayster said, it’s something meaningful to do ?

i learnt at boarding school :school: it is best to keep quiet and keep to yourself… :boy:
that way you avoid arguments of any kind…and any confrontation.
if you know yourself…you don’t have to prove it to others.
take care :alien:

Wise words from the youngster. Thanks StarryNight.
"Starry, starry, night. Paint your palette blue and grey…“
They did not listen, they’re not listening still,
Perhaps they never will”…

I think it’s a state of mind bro

Yes, indeed. Especially the voices and multiple identities.
