I really hate having Tardive Dyskinesia. Even with Ingrezza I still have symptoms. My left hand is like half paralyzed I don’t even know how to explain it. It gets “stuck” in this funny position and feels super stiff to move it. It’s created a problem with my job and typing my notes. I’m working on getting an accommodation for my job. At my work we are only allowed 2 minutes to finish our notes after a phone call. I’m trying to get accommodations to allow me 5 minutes. The reason for this is because I make a lot of typing errors that I have to take time to fix. I’ll insert a photo of my hand position. Does anyone else have a problem with their hands with TD?
Similar issue with Parkinson’s.
This kinda thing worries me as we already have Parkinson’s in the family
Have you tried out supplements for it?
Here is a link to supplements that possibly could ameliorate the condition. If you try it I recommend trying vitamins and amino acids first since the risk for side effects are little.
I don’t take any vitamins or supplements unless recommended by my doctor. I’m on a delicate balance of meds
I understand. You could always bring it to their attention and get their opinion.
My experience is many doctors are unawares about supplements and are not likely to take the initiative.
Ofcourse if they don’t subscribe to supplements at all, there’s no point bringing it up.
Something else interesting that my friend told me today was she assumed I had Bells Palsy because of how my mouth moves when I talk
It’s really strange but my TD improved since I stopped taking the Austedo a couple of days ago
@Wave you sound very good and calm
You know it’s funny, but Austedo and Ingrezza both have warnings that they might cause TD
I’m trying buddy
Thanks
