CVS sent me a text saying I had a script ready…so I called to see what script…she asked for my bday…I said it like 4 times…she couldn’t find me on the system…I was saying 1/1 instead of my actual birthday 1/9…and we both laughed at me…still awkward…I forgot my bday…wtf…
Me too ive always hated it
It’s just weird.
I am glad they invented the text message.
I have noticed from talking to a lot of people on here, and from talking to other Sza’s and Sz’s in general they hate talking on the phone.
Personally, I love talking on the phone. I am old school

The main pharmacist was at the drive thru he made sure to ask me specifically what day I was born…the usually ask for the whole thing…but he asked what day in Jan I was born…I said the 9th…he chuckled and said at least you got it right this time…I face palmed…atleast I helped somebody get a good chuckle…
Did the pharmacist ask if you want fries with that?
Me too. I need to call my professor to borrow a few books from him - it’s like im about to call God himself.
I’m just prolonging it until im “ready”.

Secretary / faculty admin?
Or bite the bullet…
Uhh its complicated and professors…they’re just weird.
What are you reading (studying)?
It makes sense for people with flawed communication skills to have a hard time on the phone, since it zones in on how your voice works. I definitely need my facial expressions and seeing other people’s faces to help me out in conversation.
Then again, I suck at skype communication too. hmmm…
I avoid phones as much as possible, other than texting. I love to text, but absolutely hate talking on phones. I can’t avoid it at work, though, considering part of my job is handling phone calls - by far my least favorite part of my job.
Lmao, one of my jobs is adjunct professor - two nights/week at a community college. I am a bit weird, though lol.
You shouldn’t feel bad on forms I always put 2016 or the current year instead of my birth year when they ask for it.
I hate talking on the phone. I tell myself not to try to fill quiet spots in the conversation but I always do it. I end up talking in loops and sounding like s complete idiot. I do that in person too, but atleast in person I can see someone’s uncomfortable expression and stop.
I’d rather write/type. I like being able to edit what you type before sending a message or whatever. Verbally, can’t do this. Once you say it, it can’t be “un-said.”
