I hate isolation

This weekend was the trip to kentucky kingdom that my partner and her dad paid for. I didn’t get to go. I’ve been alone all weekend. I’ve been hearing knocking on the walls and doors, whispering. My brother in laws, mother in law’s voices and a few others. I just didn’t get anything accomplished this week end

That sounds rough. When will your partner be back home?

I’m sorry @cbbrown. That must have been so tough. Why didn’t you get to go?

They are stopping at burger king and they are on their way back but won’t be home till late

@LilyoftheValley because they’re is no reason for me to go if i can’t go on the rides im too heavy still. Also they didn’t want just anyone to take care of their dogs

Well at least you were able to do that for them. That really sucks about the weight too. It’s so hard to stay thin on APs.

They’re home now I told my partner about everything that is happening. She said maybe I can have a meeting with my case manager

Is your case manager helpful usually?

Yeah she dropped off my meds this afternoon. She talked for awhile with me.

That’s good. I’m glad you have a good case manager. Are you able to receive peer support? It might be helpful for you and give you an outlet.

I usually go to group but yesterday I had to babysit

If I were you I’d see if I could get a peer too. It’s someone you can talk to one on one like a friend who isn’t part of your family. I find it quite helpful.

That’s great @cbbrown! Do you ever get to hang out with them?

I can’t have anyone from group over to hang out. My in laws bias is behind that rule. Claiming I never know when someone will flip out or “lose it”

Can you go to their house?
