I have rediscovered reading. I can’t read for very long at a time but after a short break, I get right back at it. I went from reading one page to reading 25 today. It exciting and I feel involved like I haven’t felt in a long time.
Hi Chordy.
I had a good day too.
I was playing with children. Today
And it felt nice
We did lots of activities together
Like being driving a boat driving a bus and making bubbles and catching bubbles.
It was really pleasant.
And also took up a lottt of energy
Glad you are reading so much today Chordy I aspire to get there too
It was such a big improvement! Congratulations. Reading can make you feel connected to the author and the world as well. By reading we feel less lonely.
By the way, what are you reading now? a fiction book?
@PinCushion what book did you read? Edit just saw @green5 asked the same lol
I’m reading “The Choice” by Edith Eva Eger. It is a gripping non fiction about a Jewish woman.
Sounds interesting. I like non-fiction books either.
I just got back to the apartment from hell after taking a walk with my sisters and dinner at my middle sisters house.
Very cool @PinCushion . I am back reading too and bought a kindle. No more physical copies for me as I’m trying to declutter but love the e reader. Glad your enjoying the reading…I spent years not reading and before the pills I was always a voracious reader.
That’s great @PinCushion. I’m the s same. I’ve rediscovered reading but it has taken a little while for my brain to get back into giving reading enough attention and concentration. What book are you reading?
I already mentioned it.
That’s great news! I love a good book!
I always have a good morning. Had some iced coffee.
Looking toward Monday, I am going out.
It seems i read on the forum all night. It’s great. At the moment it looks all positive to me, i don’t like the tragic and don’t know what to say. It’s tragic.
I read Les Miserables winter 2018 and spring 2019. I really love that book. I like to read, if I can find the right book. It’s hard to find something you want to read sometimes. I don’t read enough.
I got back into reading recently myself. Currently I’m reading “a peoples history of the United states” to try to understand more about what various minorities went through during the history of our country, as it is barely glossed over in schools. But it is quite dry so progress is slow. (I am not a big history fan…so history books usually are tough to read for me but I try to force my way through them anyways)
My day has been OK. I struggled with motivation this morning and so could only browse the internet on my phone for hours. Then my narcolepsy was bad and I was too sleepy to focus. Then I had to run errands with my bf. Then we came back and a game we’d been excited to play ended up being bad so we couldn’t play it so we have been playing diff games since then but I am starving and can’t focus on playing now. When his mom makes dinner we wait to eat it but she serves it so late, at like 8 pm!! Even if i ate lunch at like 3 pm that is still 5 hours later and im used to eating meals and get hungry every 3 hours. She teases us and says we eat at old people times but that is just when I get hungry i can’t help it. I hate waiting so long until I am shaking and feel sick and foggy headed.
You should mix history books with a book you enjoy so that it isn’t such a chore all the time.
