I got my monthly statement for my prescriptions

I am so thankful that I have Medi-Cal or I don’t know what I would do. My meds are so expensive;

Rexulti $1205
Benztropine $19
Cymbalta $79
Topamax $7
Saphris $1343

That’s just my psych meds. I am so blessed and thankful.

Do you think, the reason why you can’t sleep…is because you take too many ap medicines? I have a hunch.

Holy ■■■■ that’s so expensive?!!? That should be illegal. Like you need those how can they ethically charge that much!?

I think the medicines don’t mix together correctly, therefore you might have insomnia because of that.

That is so much money

Here in England I pay the NHS £10.50 a month for as many scripts as I want.

Really do hope the US sort out some sort of Universal Healthcare.

I think the odds are that the medicines don’t mix together, because you are taking 5 ap medicines.

Wow! That is so much money. In Australia, most medications are on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, and i pay probably a couple hundred dollars for mine. Considering i take Venlafaxine, Ziprasidone, Clozapine and Metforim as regular medication, and Diazepam as an “as required” medication. There is no way my total bill adds up to $1,000. Wouldn’t even reach half that. I know you’re happy with the price, but i do feel so sorry for you sods in America. You really do get a raw deal when it comes to your healthcare.

I can’t take the expensive antipsychotics because I don’t have the money to pay for them. I switched to Abilify this year because the price came down to $25.00 a month. It’s a tier 4 (non-prefered brand) drug with my insurance, and I have to pay something like 50% of the price.

Jake which ones do you think will keep her up? Arent they all suppresants.? Do you know how the drugs work, what their mechanism of actions are? Or is your reasoning simply based off a hunch and you want to suggest leaf to go off the meds to satisfy that hunch?

Psych meds are more expensive. My 4mg risperdal is 20$CA, my other meds are 5$ and under.

I think my copay is like $40 for my risperidone. Its cheaper from canida eh so I usually get them from there

You get your meds from Canada? Can I get Vraylar in Canada?

Do you think I can bring Vraylar from the US if it its not approved yet in Canada?

Its worth looking into. I think I remember trump signing something that allows for medicines to come from other countries in effect to lower the perscription drug costs for most americans. Mayby try call a distruibtor

But if Vraylar isn’t approved in Canada can I bring it into Canada from the US? Isn’t that illegal?

Idk where it is approved. You should write the drug company directly then to find out. I know with trumps recent order it opened the doors for international competition for drugs companies so youd have a shot

Ok so you don’t know if you can import a non approved drug into the US.

You would direct that question to the apointed drug rep and they would tell you if you needed a script written from an international or american doctor

I imagine that this will cost over a 1000$/month even if its possible. My pdr said I can’t get Vraylar in Canada.

I know my sister needed a specific asthma medication that was not regularly approved and she wrote to them and got it approved it was like $1200 a month. Im not trying to give you hope im simply saying that its worth looking into only then after you do that you can make an assumption if its a possibility or not. I still think change comes from within and not from a medication. I think you already possess what you need to find a way to improve your quality of life without the need or idealization of a new drug
