My dr just told me there’s a mental health pharmacy that

Charges less for prescriptions. She’s going to see if I can afford them easier and get on paliperidone. According to my chart I did better when I was on that while I had Medicaid and it was free. I hope it works and I get better meds.

I hope it works out too Pianogal.

They can be really expensive and when it’s too expensive, you don’t have the medication you need!

Yeah. I’ve been taking the cheapest old first generation APs with very little success. My husband says I was the best on paliperidone so I’m hopeful that through this pharmacy I can afford it

I didn’t like Invega myself, but maybe it’s what you need to completely get better. And yeah…it is expensive.

Yeah. The shots are $2000 each. The pills are $1000 for a 30 day supply

I take Paliperidone too and it worked wonders. Hopefully you can find somewhere that can help you obtain your prescription. I hope you are doing better!

I understand your hoping the pharmacy switch helps; if not, maybe the manufacturer has a program where it can help you with the cost.

@Ares I have Medicare which disqualifies me from manufacture discounts and coupons. Seriously. Not kidding. It’s so crazy
