I go hiking every day and

the last 5 hikes ive pulled a tick off of me. pretty sure 4/5 and maybe 5/5 were dog ticks, not deer ticks, but 1 might have been a deer tick but i pulled it off quickly. would be a nightmare to get limes. im wearing long pants now but im gonna start wearing boots. someone told me some spray that works too

You’re a ‘tick magnet.’ Ba dum dum.

Makes me think of that film with Reece Witherspoon where she hikes to be the woman her mother (the love of her life)wanted her to be after losing her mother.

Reece is pretty darn adorable and has been in some really good films but this one I saw at the movies and it made me cry.

Exercise can do wonders.
Good wishes to you.

Yeah mate…the lyme disease is nuts. It’s not even recognized over here. I know a girl who has the symptoms and they suck and the health authorities just refuse to admit it’s over here. It’s a crazy thing!

Get some decent hiking boots!

You’re the second person that used that joke!! Haha

It is one of my favourite things hiking. To be out in nature, among the trees and hills whatever the weather is a true joy. I am very jealous.

I am on risperidone which causes my legs to cramp up even if i walk a few hundred metres, so can’t partake at present. I look forward to the day I can walk in the mountains of Wales again.

It’s my favorite thing I’m gonna go now.
