I’m been doing some looking around on the internet at guitar gear and I think I know what I am going to get. I found a video of a guy who tried several amps to find the perfect quiet bedroom/apartment sound, and he wasn’t very good and I’m not very good anymore so it made me feel better about wanting it before I saw the video. I have a few nano guitar pedals and a daisy chain power supply that I want to use for just playing at low volumes.
I have a cheap mesa boogie preamp pedal clone, looper, a compressor sustainer, delay, reverb etc. I intend to run them into this power amp pedal I found used at our closest music store.
Then run it into this cabinet, which is the smallest but still good sounding:
I think the end product will be quite satisfying and I can still get my Soldano SLO mini guitar amp head later:
I also have a little high wattage surround sound dual speaker box I would love to covert into a guitar cabinet. It’s made by Technics so I already know it has good sound. I have the two Technics left and right speakers hooked up to my powered subwoofer for my computer or previous guitar amp sound and it sounds great.
