My only friend wants me to come out with him and his friends to a movie tonight, this is abnormal for him to ask me, movie theaters freak me out and I don’t want to hang out with them

So don’t go, it’s not the end of the world. I was supposed to go help feed the homeless tonight, my friends got a little upset when I said I wouldn’t go, but heck, I don’t feel like doing it tonight. Might get more depressed than I already am, can do it another night.

Reschedule. Maybe all of you can go do something less annoying. It sounds like he wants you to have more friends.
