Today, I showered both today and yesterday. That’s the first time I’ve done that since I was in my late 30’s. I am now in my mid 60’s. Usually I shower once every four days.

Man, I couldn’t imagine a month and half without a shower. I just went the longest I’ve ever been without a shower, 5 days and I was rank and felt so grubby. Felt so great afterwards. What do people around you think after about the 7th or 8th day? Don’t people complain or hint that you stink?

I haven’t showered since last Monday. I only shower on Monday mornings but skipped it today because group was outside.

It can be a problem, because after a while you probably don’t notice how bad you smell yourself.
There is a guy that came on the bus sometimes where I lived before. He was so ripe I never smelled someone that bad before. Like he literally hadn’t showered for a year or something. I was gagging, even sitting two rows down from him.
Funny thing was a colleague at work complained about someone on the bus smelling. Then I described the guy I knew about, and it was him again

Ive never been like that. I usually shower twice a day. Especially since i go for a jog each morning lately.
I feel like I’d be covered in a thick layer of grease or something if i didn’t shower for a month and a half.
I thought it was crazy that a lot of medieval times people in europe only bathed once a week or so in some places.
Im not trying to be rude. Sorry if im offending. It just blows my mind that so many people on here go so long without washing themselves. I’d smell like literal s##t if i went that long.
