i showered like 11 days ago. i wrote down when. or i will forget. but i did wash my hair under the faucet once or twice since then.
Havenât showered for three days.
I only shower and brush my teeth for big events or social gatherings.
I often shower twice a day. If feels nice to go to bed fresh. But my evening shower I donât use soap or moisturiser to give my body a break
I donât change clothes often. I sleep with my clothes on
i sleep with them on too if theyre soft. if not i just take off the jeans or whatever and put them back on the next day.
I want to apologize my previous post. I donât mean to underestimate how difficult it can be to do a simple thing like a shower.
I remember what it was like when I was heavily medicated on 20mg zyprexa. I probably went a couple of weeks in between showers back then.
But I hope you guys that havenât showered for months challenge yourself. Itâs not a difficult chore. Itâs just difficult to get started. Like when you want to push yourself to go for a walk, half the job is to go out the door. And shower wise I guess itâs similar. Half the job is done when you have entered the shower.
You donât want to do that. Something serious could happen.
I donât usually have a regular schedule of showering, I get clammy when I donât â I usually shower the night before I do anything besides work
But I always have clean clothes to wear and deodorant and cologne, I clean up nice
I feel ya man, Iâve gone on long sprints of not showering before too. Just recently though Iâve gotten a lot better at it.
What helps me out is picking a designated shower day out of the week and sticking with it.
My therapist taught me that and itâs a very good technique to remind yourself with.
One thing for certain, I canât seem to get in the habit of flossing to save my life â and the only time I brush is when I showerâŚ
Meh.
I understand. Sponge baths are very nice. Waterless soap and shampoo are amazing.
i used to shower once or twice a week but now shower daily, i get an urge to shower every night before falling asleep, the hot water feels so good lol the cleaning part takes effort but is only made up for by the relaxing maximum temp water meditation afterwards
Yeah for me, a hot shower is a calming, pleasant relaxing experience. Helps me get to sleep at night too. And also an ice cold shower helps wake me up and get ready for the day. It shocks my body into being ready for anything. Especially since its getting cold in Aus here now. So overwhelming to already be cold and jump into an ice cold shower. Its like having 5 coffees at once haha.
