I didn't recognize my sister for a second

I was drinking a can of pop facing away from the door, then I started hearing an low pitched air noise. So that made me really paranoid because I never heard of it till now. As i turned around my sister became an unrecognizable blob and thats when I freaked tf out and yelled and held the can of soda ready to throw it at her. When I remembered her face LOL. I apologized, my family was pretty mad but I found it funny. I mean I didn’t mean to get all scared it just kind of happened. Anyway thought I’d share this funny incident.

When I had my own apartment, for a minute, I did not recognize my parents or therapist when they visited once.

When I was full blown psychotic the voice in my head was going into people’s body’s including my CPN and my family. So when I looked into their eyes it was effing disturbing as I could see the soul of the voice looking back at me from in their eyes. Really truly sad times as I felt like I didn’t know my family etc anymore. Because they were kind of possessed or something by the voice. And at this point the voice had gotten really scary with what it was saying.

Wow that sounds extremely scary and distressing. Schizophrenia is a cruel illness. The depths your mind goes is scary and how it can change your perception of the world.

@77nick77 yeah it seems to happen from time to time.
