Under the ancestry tab of 23andMe click on DNA relatives and then on ancestors birthplaces. Click on a country and you’ll see how many of the grandparents came from that country.
With some people they’re accurate and with other people less accurate . With the top non Anglo population for me being Norway at My heritage and there being 4 g/parents from Norway on23andMe ancestor birthplaces, I’m thinking I may have distant Norwegian ancestry.
I did ancestry.com came back a bunch of stuff I never knew I was. Then later when I logged in they said that had new updated results for me. The new results seemed more accurate with what I knew. So yes found ancestry.com to not be accurate at first.
