I did DNA ancestry test

It was 100% accurate. 23 and me.

I got 98% my origin race from west Asia current day Turkey and 2% north African.
I am lactose intolerant, drink a lot of coffee, naturally underweight, great musical pitch and I have no health conditions predispositions to pass onto my children. I am highly likely to develop diabetes or vision loss as I age.

Spooky. It’s amazing what they can tell from dna now.

I wasn’t surprised really.

The ethnicity results from all these places like 23andMe should be taken with a pinch of salt as to their accuracy when it comes to most people’s ancestry. Cousin matches are a better guide to one’s ancestry.

Under the ancestry tab of 23andMe click on DNA relatives and then on ancestors birthplaces. Click on a country and you’ll see how many of the grandparents came from that country.

No, 23 and Me turned out very accurate.

With some people they’re accurate and with other people less accurate . With the top non Anglo population for me being Norway at My heritage and there being 4 g/parents from Norway on23andMe ancestor birthplaces, I’m thinking I may have distant Norwegian ancestry.

I did ancestry.com and I am 100 percent Baltic. Guess my ancestors did not travel much. Is 23.and me better than ancestry.com?

I did ancestry.com came back a bunch of stuff I never knew I was. Then later when I logged in they said that had new updated results for me. The new results seemed more accurate with what I knew. So yes found ancestry.com to not be accurate at first.

I did My Heritage.com
I am:
74% European meaning from Spain, Scotland and Ireland.
24% Meso American meaning from Mexico
2% Arabic meaning Moorish

My mom did 23andme and ancestry

She got slightly different results but very similar.

She actually found out her real father but that’s another story.

On 23andme she was Greek but on ancestry was mid eastern.

Really it was all Italian by the time our family immigrated to the USA. Just migrated throughout the Mediterranean.

I tell people now that I’m 12.5% Irish 37.5% Italian 50% jewish (Russian polish Latvian Israeli)

That’s probably what I am.
