I can read again

So I have made myself to do daily reading assignments. Last Sunday I sit in the bookstore and read for 4 to 5 hours. I almost finished the book in one go.

I have started on the new job 4 days ago and I’m reading everyday. I think I managed good enough. There are times when I feel uneasy to comprehend but overall I’m reading fine. It’s such a relief I can read again.

I’ve tried and failed to read again. Maybe I didn’t try hard enough. I might try again someday. That’s encouraging.

I had experienced great difficulty in reading. I think I’m getting much better now. I’ve struggled for a few years.

That is awesome!! I’m so happy for you :sunny:

I’ve noticed my concentration has been improving recently as well. I wonder if it is due to Zoloft. I am actually able to watch tv shows and movies again, and read full chapters of books. It’s crazy.

Yaaaay!

Good for you. Reading is one of the best exercises for the brain.

What kind of books do you enjoy reading?

I am partial to science, philosophy and biographies.

That’s great. Being absorbed in a book is one of the best feelings.

At work, I’m reading about insurance. It’s good to expand my knowledge in insurance because I want to buy some but don’t know enough about them.

I’m also reading about hypnosis. I’m interested in soul and related topics.
