I feel for you @roxanna. Can you just rest in your apartment right now? Maybe it will feel a little more comfortable when the sun comes up. Nights can be especially rough.

If you need to rest in the am that’s ok. Rest is good. You’re taking care of yourself - good on you.

You said your heard name calling through your headphones. I need to ask you this:

Do you believe the name calling was your nieghors and you could still hear it even though your headphones were used?

or were you 100% aware that it was just auditory hallucinations?

When these auditory hallucinations pop up, have you ever tried “tinkering” with them to see what helps decrease them?
Example: remove headphones. Use quality ear plugs to produce total silience for up to 30 minutes while doing something which requires a lot of concentration.
Many of us experience increases if we have not been sleeping well and feel mentally tired.
I have noticed hallucinations like “feed” and work on and with negative emotions such fear, anger, or paranoia.
example: exactly what you are going through now. If you feel paranoid and fearful, those !#^*&^/(explicative deleted) hallucinations will often try to make it worse.
The hallucinations will say things to feed and increase fear, aggitation, aggression, paranoia.
The hallucinations are produced by a chemical/ electric"short" from our auitory nerves to other parts of the brain. Sometimes, but not always, we can rest those nerves via silience and decrease the hallucinations.
This works best if we are not mentally fatigued. I cant speak for others, but i have a laymans knowledge of causes of hallucinations (brain anatomy).
IMHO, I find it much more pleasant to tinker with them than to tolerate them.
