I been living by myself for about ten months now. Cool

I’m waitin on a new roommate. I’m looking forward to it because there’s no one on earth who could be worse than my last one.

I’ve had tons of roommates in the past eat my food without asking. Bastards

Good luck. Our house is finally peaceful we had a horrible roommate and it took months to get her out. A bad roommate wrecks the whole vibe.

Yeah, I lived with 6 or 7 roommates quite a few years ago. Someone was eating other peoples food but we didn’t know for sure who it was. We eventually narrowed it down to one guy but we still couldn’t prove it a 100% that it was him. But funny enough, when he moved out, food stopped disappearing.

The bad one we had not only stole food but would steal towels and clothes out of the laundry…sneak in people’s rooms taking change, jewelry and meds. Where does one get off thinking they’re allowed to repeatedly take s##t from people?

Yeah, people got rude chutzpah. In the board & care home two years ago I came back early to my room after lunch only to find that one of the residents from another building was in my neighbors room directly across the hall with my neighbors laptop under his arm and looking through their drawers. I wrestled a short while with the idea if I should report him or not to the staff. It didn’t take long, I waited 15 minutes and then reported him and they kicked him out because he was doing it to other people too. I never liked him anyways even though I had little contact with him. I didn’t like the way he looked. Just looking at him irritated me.

I’ve never had a roommate that wasn’t a family member. I got married when I turned 18 and moved right in with my husband from my mom’s. Then my mom moved in with me when I bought a house! She was a peaceful roommate who would even babysit. I let her know she is welcome back anytime, for whatever reason. She is easy to live with.

Yeah, but for whatever reason, she didn’t clean. Come on, Mom, get to cleaning! (Love you, Mom!)

The only “room mates” I’ve ever had were either husbands (one), or lover’s. And they were almost all of them complete disasters. Either they or I was horrid. Never again.

I hope it’s a good roommate, in my experience they’re either great or they’re awful. If you get lucky you could make a really good friend, and when you want to be left alone it’ll be like they’re not even there. I have become really good friends with our renter… my mom’s former renter that is. He moved in with my stepdad to pay rent there when my mom moved to CA. He’s a cool guy.

There is now way in hell i could ever live with someone again. When i was sharing a house in a run down council estate - the food kept getting nicked - and the other lodger was always drunk falling up the stairs. When ive had women stay over - i start getting annoyed with them after a couple of days and want my man cave back! My house sharing days are over. Its very rare i have anyone in my flat now - even family. i prefer to be left alone in peace.
