I did in the end attend the funeral…more to say goodbye… It was weird and she didn’t look like my grandmother…

I feel the same way. People don’t look like themselves when they pass. It kind of messes with my head. I’m glad you were able to go. Did you get any closure from it?

Sorry for your loss, I know how you feel, I’ve lost both of my grandmothers.
Yeah, it can help with closure, reminiscing about the good times with family and friends.
My first grandmother looked a little different when she was lying at the funeral home, it was depressing. My second grandmother was cremated so it was just an Urn at the funeral home.

My friend looked so at peace at her funeral. It made me think funerals can be beautiful.
