Really? I currently own six bows and they’re legal. I could probably get my firearms license at this point if I want to, but I dislike guns.
Do you own any crossbows?
Too slow and unwieldy to use - I have no interest in owning one. I do have two compound bows and one is designed for teaching youth archery, while the other is for hunting although I only shoot targets with it. One bow is a traditional English longbow, one is a higoyumi (asymmetrical Japanese bow), one is a takedown recurve, and one is an Olympic recurve.

For some odd reason this reminded me of when I ran into one of my former professors at a video store right after I signed my Air Force contract.
He asked me if I “was going to get into any battles?”
I told me brother that has always cracked me up because it just shows you how little the average civilian knows about modern warfare, or the military at that.
Like we’re living in ancient Scotland or some shite.

interesting, i was just looking at recurve bows on amazon last night because you can get one pretty cheap and ive always had an interest in archery but never jumped into it

Where I live you can have firearms as long as: * Have not been in a mental hospital or drug or alcohol treatment center within the last 5 years*
- Have not been committed to a mental hospital against your will“ and that’s to receive a carry license. Now the requirements to possess a license have been lifted so no one needs that anyway. To hunt you only need to pass a hunter safety course. The 5th circuit court has ruled that previous drug use is not a reason to prevent people from possessing firearms now as well. In the US guns have more rights than people.
