So i am very certain that i suffer from hyper hydrosis because of the abilify injections i get monthly. I mean the amount i sweat while doing the slightest bit of activity is rediculous. Like dripping off my face and drenched clothing. So embarrasing. Its to the point that people are concerned when they see me sweating so much from doing so little.
Its been winter where i live too so its not like its actually warm or anything.
Anyone else think the meds make them swest profusely? Especially abilify?

Can be weird side effects. What’s the doctor say? I’d investigate that for sure.

@rogueone my last psychiatrist just casually said something along the lines of “yes it can have that effect” and thst was it. I didnt stress for changes at the time.
But seriously its quite embarrasing. I might speak to my new doctor about it and see if there is anything that can be done.

i just switched from abilify to rexulti because of the side effects, rexulti is very similar to abilify but with less side effects, maybe talk to your doctor about rexulti.

@lola oh yeah? So rexulti is not so sedating like abilify? And not too terrible when it comes to sexual side effects? They are my main concerns. But yeah thanks. Ill have a chat with my doc in a week or two.

the frequency of almost every side effect is way less in rexulti, and its not any less potent, although the main drawback is that its more expensive
There’s more weight gain with rexulti though
