How to switch safe from 20 mg abilify to Vraylar 1.5 mg+ 3 mg

I will consult my shrink about it all of course, but I’d love to know anyone that did it

Its really your psychiatrist who will decide the steps and dosage to reduce. We’re not psychiatrists. You did say only Abilify works for you? Maybe ask your psy a prn of Abilify to take in case Vraylar doesn’t work. I hope Vraylar works for you bcz you had similar problems as me with Abilify.

Saphris 10 mg 15 mg works too but its not as powerfull as abilify

Clozapine is the strongest, #1.
How come it didn’t work for you?

It made me psychotic, sedated like hell barely could walk no blood tests for white blood count, so bad

yes Aziz slept for 6 months on that drug could not function had trouble swallowing did nothing for my symptoms i propably do have Lyme disease with psychosis, no anti psychotic work

Interesting caplyta has potential to help severe or treatment resistant patients. Just read it. So far I’m doing good. 6th day strong.

i tried minocycline 50 mg and after 3 days my schizzo was gone but i react resistant to the anti biotic now, so strange im not going to risk it for now

Improved similar or better than vraylar. I eat less for sure. Only side effect mainly is sedation. I recently switched it to nighttime and sleep better now. Worse erectile dysfunction and no sex drive.

Dp/dr is a little less. Less delusional and inside my head, but still have strange beliefs but not so rooted or strong.

Anti biotics, Antabuse has some success but can cause psychosis never tried, and herbs (doing it this way) I’m still in the fight

I did a blood test and serum or something came back positive, Im sorry to say I have this for 20 years post Lyme syndrome neurological…

Good thing that Abilify is working.
Keep trying other meds if Abilify is giving you addiction issues.

Abilify is working for a lamictal induced psychosis, not for my lyme
i could function without an AP, not 100% but not delusional psychosis from the lamictal that I’ve gotten in 2009
