How to improve negative symptoms of schizophrenia? is there any ways? Did anyone improved your negative symptoms with medication?

Negative symptoms are the worse characterist of sz.there are no magical cure to sz…but trying to self engage in ur interested subjects are one way to get rid of neg symptoms. .be patients and be optimistic about the future is another way to counteract the neg…my suggestion iz to u is keep painting graffiti. .and volunteer in charity. .thanks for reading…

yes but painting graffiti is hard I have lack of motivation to do this thing… hard to concentrates, but there is times when i am more motivated and can draw littlebit. but I cannot work, I cant find job that I can manage to do. I will go to doctor next week. I dont know what to tell him,She just prescribes me more medication wich do nothing to my negative symptoms. I also dont know if i should change meds, cuz all have side effects, now that i am using meds just makes my sexual drive bad, but no gain weight, what about zyprexa I dont know, I dont want to gain weight.

I take Sarcosine for my negative symptoms. I have trouble with personal hygiene. I also get overwhelmed when I think about everything I have to do, and my brain shuts down so I can’t do any of it. But with Sarcosine, I now remember to shower almost every day, and I even do my hair. I can plan how to accomplish the tasks I need to get done. I can do my homework and clean the house. how long do you need to take it. i read about it that high level of sarcosine couses prostate cancer. I little fear to take this supplement

It has been loosely linked as a marker of prostate cancer, but that does not mean it causes prostate cancer. More studies are being done to determine what the link is.

I had to take it for about a month before I noticed a difference. I take 2 grams every morning.

Negative symptoms suck. I have avolition and ahedonia and it makes it really hard to do well in school.
