I spent the last 8 years of my life being schizophrenia
I’m 41 going to be 42 in February. I’ve been psychotic for 12 years. I was prodromal a couple of years before that. I dream of recovery so I can study again. I envy those who can work and study.
I turned 50 in April. Sza for 35 years. I managed to get a bachelor’s and master’s sometime in between but i don’t work. Life is hard sometimes but i keep positive and keep pushing on. I am doing SO much better than i was in my 20s…
I am 62 and was born in 1962. so it’s a neat year for me to be…looking forward to growing old even though I have aches and pains already.
I’m 60 years old and am starting to get aches and pains also
I was first diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 20 so that’s 40 years with me living with this disease.
What a long and strange trip it’s been!
35 and losing my mind all over again

I am 37
First episode I was about 17 when it first got picked up
My 20’s were tough
30’s by comparison have been ok
Think the independent living helped me a lot to avoid conflict
My 20’s very tough also. And my 30’s were better. Late 30’s and early 40’s have been relatively stable for me. I think the illness does actually get better over time @Joker
I’m 43. My b’day is in March. Been. Sick since 2000.
