I’m doing a study and just wondering what age you developed schizophrenia. I was diagnosed at 28 and was told it was late onset, when i search it up, that doesnt seem to be the case. Thoughts?

Diagnosed at age 23. I am going to be 43 in May.
28 or 29, i cant remember exactly. I was in and out of the hospital every month back then.
I was diagnosed with schizoaffective - bipolar type at age 24. My symptoms started at age 12.
I was prodromal around 32. full blown psychoisis at 35. I am now 61 and very happy.
I was diagnosed at 43 because I finally told a psychiatrist I’m hearing voices for six years. I was talking to my mom and not making sense. She told me to see a psychiatrist.
I think I had symptoms of schizophrenia definitely in my twenties if not younger. I didn’t know they were symptoms of schizophrenia though. Hindsight is 20/20.
