I am 51.

I got diagnosed at 15 so I have been living with sz for 36 years.

My teens and 20’s were horrendous but I stablized out in my 30’s

However, I am going through menopause so a lot of my symptoms have returned these last few years.

I was diagnosed schizoaffective at 21. It changed to schizophrenia. But I’ve had it since I was 17. So 24 years.

There’s no such thing as mild sz, however I’m in a much better place right now, the hellish nightmare has turned into a regular bad dream :smirk:

50 years old. Was diagnosed Sz at 40. Its been said i was a late diagnosis - and probably had it alot earlier. Shame it had a part in screwing up my marriage.
