How often do you visit the pdoc

I see my pdoc about every 6-8 weeks. I see my primary care provider (physical doctor) every 2 weeks since we are working on me losing weight.

I visit once a month over the computer, as well. I get a 29 minute appointment.

Ish, I want you to be seen more than once a year.

Here in the USA, few of our doctors want to see patients. But we import doctors from all over the world.

I do especially because I also heard since the pandemic it’s been even worst here in the states to get psychiatric help.

Kids who are suicidal can’t even get a bed. Just an article I read yesterday.

He said I have no positive symptoms so no need for a pdoc anymore. He said I am stable.

Yea but I have bad negative and some cognitive symptoms, they don’t care about those as nothing can be done. He said to live with them as much as I can.

What about quality of life?

You mean negative and cognitive symptoms? He said there is no treatment for those.

I said to my psychiatrist of a few years, I want to talk about sex. He said, “I want to help you any way I can.”

I wish you could find another pdoc. They’re not all like that. Mine would do, and keeps trying, anything to help my depression and cognitive/memory symptoms.
