How much protein do you get in your diet?

My protein intake has been going down, but I am correcting that. You need protein as you get old as when as when you’re young.

If you don’t exercise you’re supposed to eat a min of 0.8-1g protein/kg of weight. If you exercise, 1.2-1.7g/kg. Athletes need up to 2.2-3g/kg.

Not enough chief. Maybe 20-40g per day right now because I’m only eating 1200 calories on this diet. I definitely need to up that to 120g per day at least, once the cut is over.

40g a day Ensure Plus shake in the AM / PM (350 calorie each)

Eating a salad in the middle of the day.

Definitely under 1000 calories a day.

I think among vegan food soy has the highest amount of protein. I saw online they sell soy and pea protein powders.

I sometimes think that plant protein breaks down in your system faster than animal protein. It’s probably healthier.
