How Many Grams of Protein Do You Eat Daily

I’m just curious, mostly, for your guy’s daily intake?

For me, I shoot for over 250g of protein daily to preserve and add muscle because I’m strength training. It’s a lot harder for me to gain the desired amount of protein for me due to my allergies to dairy and eggs, though, the dairy has subsided for the most part. So, I do a lot of plant and meat proteins every day to ensure that I gain a healthy amount of muscle back. I say this because I lost some strength and muscle when I lost nearly a hundred pounds. Before I lost that much strength, I could back squat 315, deadlift 365, barbell bench 245 for reps, and could do 165 at my favorite lift, which is standing military press. Needless to say, I have lost considerable amounts of pounds in each of the categories, and wish to get back there, while at the same time continue losing fat.

Correction: I said 250g by accident, I mean 150g.

I eat 70-85 grams of protein a day but that’s because I’m only on a 1200 calorie per day diet.

Yeah, I try to keep my calories mostly high in protein. But this is as of recently. When I lost nearly hundred pounds, I ate less than 1000 calories a day because of my overtly slow metabolism. Now I’m a bit more lenient.

I’ve read lots of articles that men should eat at least 1500 and women at least 1200 calories per day. So I’m losing very slowly because like you I have a very slow metabolism. I do totally get why you ate less though. It helps to see results

I don’t pay attention to fat, protein, carbs ratio. I try to eat somewhat healthy in general. I find that is enough to hold my weight or even slim down combined with excersise.

I’m doing lo carb but don’t go overboard on the protein so my average is like 70-90 grams a day give or take.
