How much abilify do you take!

I take the 20mg pill once a day but i am finding it isnt as helpful and efficacious as i thought. Wondering what dosages others might be on?

I was on 10 mg abilify then 15 mg

I was on 10 mg. 20 mg is quite a high dose. If it’s not working for you then I don’t think Abilify is the med for you. It’s not one of the stronger APs anyhow. It didn’t work that well for me.

Yes it has helped me Abilify but i was having great anxiety and i switched on invega, it’s a good med but it caused me weight gain so i will be soon on abilify again

I didnt know invega was better for weight- thought it and abilify were both weight neutral

I’m on invega 9mg now pills and i gained like 12kg since january or so

I see, gotcha, one reason i switched to abilify is weight problems but apparently even as a higher dose it is not efficacious…

first 15mg and now 10mg because i started to feel spacey
it still works for positives but im thinking about some other ap

I gained weight on invega too but now I lost the weight

I was on 10mg for 3 years. I’ve been on 15mg for about a week.

Doc lowered my dose from 10 mg to 5 mg about 3 weeks ago.

I started taking 15 mg of zyprexa again at night and its helping me exponentially. I dont want to take it bc of weight but i think youre right, abilify just isnt strong enough on its own :disappointed_relieved:
